The confirmed keynote speakers for the conference are:
Dr Dylan Williams
Dylan is an Associate Professor in Chemistry at the University of Leicester, a Senior Fellow of the HEA, and the winner of the RSC’s 2018 Higher Education Teaching award. He will be talking about using Context and Problem Based Learning (C/PBL) in the physical sciences.
Dr Ross Galloway
Ross is a Senior Teaching Development Officer in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. His talk is entitled “Active learning and the flipped classroom: myth and reality”.
Dr Jane Pritchard
Jane is a member of the academic staff development team at Bristol (though recently appointed to a readership at Oxford Brookes University), and was a 2015 HEA National Teaching Fellow. Her talk is entitled “Courage and Challenge: Teaching and Learning”.
